What is the average cost of an airplane?
 
Answer :
Airplanes come in many sizes and performance ranges, so there isn't really an "average" cost. Simple, low-performance airplanes can be purchased for less than the cost of a new car. As the performance and complexity of the aircraft goes up, so does the price. High performance aircraft can cost more than a family home, and the cost of ultra-high performance aircraft can range into the millions of dollars. With this kind of price range, there's something for everyone's pocketbook.
