EAA Young Eagles - Ask the Expert

Question :
What is your favorite World War II airplane? Mine is the P-47D Republic "Tarheel Hal" down at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galvaston, TX.

Answer :
My favorite wouls be the B-17 "Flying Fortress" because I flew B-47s with a guy who was the aircraft commander on World War II B-17s at a ripe old
age of barely 20. My second choice is the P-51 "Mustang" because it is the slickest airplane ever built.
But then that's just one guy's opinion!
Joel
