Young Eagles Office – April 2, 2007 – Join Young Eagles Director Steve Buss for a Young Eagles forum at Sun ‘n Fun in Lakeland, Fla. Steve will host the forum on Thursday, April 19 at 9 a.m. in forum tent #4. Topics for discussion will include the new Air Tour rule and the potential impact on Young Eagle flights, the 1.3 millionth Young Eagle, International Young Eagles Day and the 15th anniversary celebration planned for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2007. All EAA Chapter Coordinators and interested volunteers are encouraged to attend. In addition to the program update and questions and answers, the forum offers a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow Young Eagle volunteers and exchange stories and contact information. Speaking of stories, if you know of a Young Eagle who has gone on to achieve their pilot certificate or is working or studying in aviation or related field, please let us know. We are compiling a listing of Young Eagle alumni in anticipation of the anniversary celebration. We’ll see you in Lakeland!
